About Me

I'm a committed magic, illusion and special effects designer ready to bring a creative look to your staged production. I specialize in creating visual effects that will wow your audience. I love to create new works, whether for the live stage, documentaries, or comedic stories for network or streaming services.
For over 40 years I have been involved in the magical-musical arts and entertainment industry. I have created unique staged musicals that combine songs of popular artists with never-before-seen magic, illusions, and special effects, all told through a fun and whimsical story. The concept of combining songs with magic was imagined when I collaborated with Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) on a show, Magic in the Music. What made the show unique was all the cast performed the magic - while singing and dancing. It was retooled in 2016 for Princess Cruise Lines and renamed Magic to Do. I am currently developing a new show: Celebrate ... a whimsical love story told through magic in the music of Three Dog Night.

    In collaboration with Stephen Schwartz, Dennis developed and produced a magic, musical revue; Magic in the Music. The show was retooled for Princess Cruises, renamed Magic to Do and is being performed on three ships worldwide.

    Dennis's new WorkBook describes the eight, absolute elements needed to become an Egosynergist. This part autobiography and part self-up WorkBook brings a unique way of looking at your current life and then taking a methodical approach to becoming a better ego-being.
  • Celebrate ...a whimsical love story told through the magic in the music of Three Dog Night
    This two-act, magical musical, combines the songs of iconic band Three Dog Night, with never-before-seen magic, illusions, and special effects, all told through a humorous love story. The show uses twenty-three songs sequenced in a way to help move the story along. Between the songs there is bridging dialogue to provide clarity to the characters and add humor to the story. Magic, illusions, and special effects are placed appropriately within each song. Interpretive dance is applied when it supports the song and its placement within the storyline.
